I AM A RECENTLY (2004) RETIRED ESP (English for Specific Purposes) teacher, who taught Scientific English for TSU (Técnico Superior Universitario, Skilled technician ) students, in Cumaná , Venezuela . I have also given advanced English translation courses for professional teachers in other areas of knowledge, such as Biology, Food Technology, and Chemistry. I have also done MANY written translations in these fields plus in Electronics about articles, manuals, and operational guides.
I HAVE A MASTER'S DEGREE in teaching English as a Second Language from Saint Michael's College, Winooski , Vermont ,

from 1977-78.

A DOUBLE MAJOR IN SPANISH Literature and PHILOSOPHY from the University of Waterloo, Kitchener-Waterloo, 1971.

AND A MASTER IN LIBRARY SCIENCE from the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada , 1974.

I was born in Hungary , 1944.

So that the material I have gathered would not get lost, I thought it convenient to put as much of it as possible on the INTERNET, before I turn to other subjects of my interest.

WHAT I AM PUTTING FORWARD HERE IS BASICALLY MOST OF MY WORK THAT I HAVE DONE DURING MY 30 YEARS OF SERVICE, PLUS SOME ORIGINAL IDEAS ABOUT HOW TO TEACH THIS SUBJECT ON A PRIVATE LEVEL, OUTSIDE THE CURRICULUM.
